Life Changing Product Launch!

A little inside to my hair-type is that I have baby fine hair, but I have a crap ton of it; therefore, my hair starts looking oily after just 2 short days if I don't put any products to prevent oil. The only thing with this, is that my ends tend to look dry if the product is too harsh! Recently, the lord opened the gates to heaven and sent me the new Loreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay line to try out. Just kidding, the ever-so amazing Influenster sent the line to me. The products sent to me included: the re-balancing shampoo, the re-balancing conditioner and the clay masque. If we are being honest, I was quite hesitant to try the line because I am one of those who 'doesn't try to fix what isn't broken' when it comes to my hair products, but I decided to give it a shot. I am so glad that I did!! It amazed me how I was able to notice results only after one use! My hair had body, bounce but yet my ends were hydrated and looked so healthy! I always shampoo my hair twice, then let the conditioner sit for about 5 minutes before rinsing. For me to dedicate an entire blog post to a hair line, it has to be worth it!! I would never recommend something I didn't truly love. Give the line a try and thank me after. You will NOT be disappointed!! The line can be found at any drugstore for under $10/each. Below is a picture of each product so you know what to look for!!

Oh La Lashes!

Life is short, but your lashes shouldn't be!

For Halloween this year, I was really inspired by NikkieTutorals when she posted a video, DEMON - Pulled Up Skin Halloween Makeup Tutorial. After watching the video, I just HAD to recreate the look and add my own style and flare to it! I made one of my coworkers lend me her face for a few hours, and the final outcome was, in my opinion, STUNNING!!!

Pictured: Jenny Jumonville
Products Used:
"Demon side"
- Halloween face paint from Walgreen's
- Morphe "Jaclyn Hill Favorites" Palette
- NYX black eyeshadow
- Elmer's purple glue stick (to cancel out the eyebrow)
- Coty airspun loose translucent powder
- Kat Von D kohl eyeliner in "trooper"
- Ciate London black liquid eyeliner
- Tarte "Lights, Camera, Splashes" waterproof mascara

"Bombshell side"
- Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer in "Medium Light Neutral"
- Make Up For Ever full cover concealer in "Flesh 4"
- Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz in "Taupe" and "Dark Brown"
- Loreal Brow Stylist in "Medium/ Dark"
- Morphe "Jaclyn Hill Favorites" Palette
- Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer
- NARS blush in "Madly"
- BECCA pressed highlighter in "Champagne Pop"
- Makeup Geek shadows in "Creme Brulee," "Cocoa Bear," and "Ice Queen"
- Tarte "Lights, Camera, Splashes" waterproof mascara

& finally, I think we can all agree on who's the star of the show here, these drop dead gorgeous, fluffy false lashes!!! Am I right? Or AM I RIGHT!?

As a makeup artist, I've worn and applied my fair share of false lashes! The lashes I used to pull the look together are the 3D Mink EyeLashes by Tricky Hair Extentions. The eye lashes are both fluffy and durable (meaning you can get a TON of uses out of one pair!) Make sure to note, these lashes can be worn on SEVERAL different eye shapes and sizes. When you first open the box, you'll see there is a small bit of excess band that can easily be trimmed, if needed, with scissors. Both Jenny and myself have worn the lashes, and we BOTH recommend you give Tricky Hair Extensions a try because you won't be disappointed! I used DUO lash adhesive in "Dark" as always to adhere the lashes to the lid.

Game Changing Foundation Product: Cover FX Custom Cover Drops

CoverFX: Custom Cover Drops
Description, Review and How I Use Them

$44 - Sephora & Online

What are they?
CoverFX came out with this amazingly innovative product called Custom Cover Drops. For $44, you get .5 oz of concentrated PURE PIGMENT. The drops come in 24 different shades ranging from very pale to dark with pink, neutral and golden undertones. No matter what if you have dry, normal, combination or oily skin, you can still use them. The drops have flash fusion technology; meaning, once you drop and mix the product with any of your favorite products, the pigment instantly takes over the mixture. Basically, you can customize the amount of coverage you want with any moisturizer, primer, serum, oil, foundation, etc.

Adding one drop provides sheer coverage.
Adding two drops provides medium coverage.
Adding three drops provides full coverage.
Adding four drops provides MAXIMUM coverage.

Shades:
Pink: P20  P30  P40  P50
Neutral: N10  N20  N30  N40  N50  N60  N70  N80  N90  N100  N110
Golden: G20  G30  G40  G50  G60  G70  G80

Do I like/ recommend them?
Hell yes! Lets be real. This is everything you could want the beauty world to create. If you have a foundation that is your absolute favorite, but you just wish it had better coverage; this will be your new best friend. If you have imperfections on your face you wish you could cover but foundation is too heavy-feeling, just add these to your favorite moisturizer and BAM coverage that feels like nothing is there! You bought a foundation that is perfect for you but you bought it a couple shades off, add a drop or two to the back of your hand, and you'll have you very own custom shade! Really, do I have to continue? Don't lie, you're sold!

How do I use them?
It's no secret, I love makeup; therefore, you can trust my word when I say I have seriously experimented. For those interested, I am in shade G30 which is described as being for light to medium skin with golden undertones. I have added different numbers of drops to my favorite foundation, the 'NARS Sheer Glow.' Perfection! I usually add two drops which just ups the coverage for me. Another favorite of mine is to add about three drops into a dime size amount of the 'Korres Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Primer' on the back of my hand. This literally feels like nothing on my face yet gives enough coverage for a flawless appearance. I have mixed a drop on top of an under-eye concealer I purchased in a shade too dark; it worked like a charm.

Ultimately, I really recommend these drops to any and everyone. The shade range makes it easy for almost anyone to be matched. I understand you're paying over $40 for half an ounce, but really, you're only using a few drops at a time. I can guarantee a bottle will last you a good bit of time. If you try them out, let me know! I love hearing for you all!!
